Long story short: I googled how to make a td change the entire background color when rolling over the text. I found a css code that I could actually get working, but now my text is out of place. (It is out of place because my class has been placed on the entire table and not a td or paragraph.

However, I need my text to be vertically aligned at the bottom of the td, but when I use the vertical alignment option in dreamweaver, the entire table gets aligned and not just the text. (Which makes perfect sense given where the class is attached to.) I just need to know how to get the text to align at the bottom of the td.

Any help would be great.

Sample page can be found here: http://gro-wings.com/proof/chriskadish/sample.html (The menu I need help with is the one in the middle, just in case you miss it.)

Css code is below:

Code:

.navlink {
   text-decoration: none;
}
.navlink td#title {
   vertical-align: middle;
}
.navlink td {
   text-decoration: none;
}
.navlink a {
   font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
   font-size: 17px;
   font-weight: normal;
   color: #8B0103;
   text-align: center;
   text-decoration: none;
   line-height: 22px;
   vertical-align: bottom;
   display:block;
}
.navlink td a {
   width: 100%;
   height: 98%;
   vertical-align: middle;
}
.navlink td a:hover {
   color: #FFFFFF;
   text-decoration: none;
   background-color: #8B0103;
   display:block
;}
.navlink td a:visited {text-decoration:none}

And html code:

Code:

Headshots

Modeling

Wedding

Baby,
                        Children, Family

Fun
                        Stuff

Fine
                        Art

At first it was just a matter of "updating" news and requests, but now I am having to change church calendar as well.

Question is, how do I change the calendar page on the "main page" so that it automatically reflects on the other webpages, as we have a sidebar in which you should be able to click on "calendar" from any page and it should be the same date and info as on the main page. However, it is not and I find myself manually having to update each page. Labourious at the least!

Thanks for anyone's help in this matter,

Fr. In other words, I don't need to change my MX record at all. But there IS something they need to do on their end, and it's transparent to me. I submitted three tickets, two of which were closed with no notification. The third was the charm, and I finally got spam filtering working. At least, it appears to work, since I've had a 90% reduction in spam. There is a supposed interface to the spam filter, so you can see (and possibly deliver, in the event of false positives) filtered spam, but there were only five messages for a 24 hour period, which is not believable.

I am very grumpy over this. I purchased the spam filter option in August, and it didn't function until December. The big lapse was mostly due to my earlier tickets being closed without consent or without contact. Had I got ANY kind of response from my tickets, I probably would have been able to resolve this sooner.

As others have pointed out, since the change from Alabanza to Jumpline (out of CWH hands), service and support has gone down. I'm stubborn, and don't like to consider the idea of moving to another hosting service. I came here primarily because their Christian business model, and secondly because of the price per service, and the options/services provided were ideal.

I don't often need tech support, and I'm not asking for someone to hold my hand, nor to drop everything and take care of me. But communication is utmost, and there has not been much, or even any.

Sorry for my rant, I needed to get that off.
